Forty!!!

Dan had a big birthday this year - 40!  Except, he decided he was going on a diet a few weeks before, so that meant no cake, so I made a fruit pizza for him.  It actually was very delicious.  The kids had a great time making him cards and helping me decorate.  

January Recap

Here are some of the other things we did in January.  The boys always have fun building creative things with Legos.  Here is one of them:

Andrew was in the school spelling bee.  He studied so hard, and is a great speller, but got out on his first word.  He was pretty disappointed.  But I am proud of him for trying!

Violet tried to give me a hair cut one day.  Luckily, they are pretend Barbie scissors.
