North Fork

Bethany and I went with the Girl Scouts for a weekend campout at North Fork.  This happened to coincide with the first day of soccer for the boys, and Dan was coaching Jorgen's team.  So he had fun wrangling all 3 of the little kids for 24 hours or so.  

For some reason, they put me and another short mom in charge of setting up the tents.  Someone else had chosen the tent locations, then left to do something else.  The first tent was literally IN the trees.  I have enough scratches on my legs to prove it.  It took us about 2 hours to get all 3 tents up, but in all fairness, the first tent took the longest.  The other 2 were a lot faster once we knew what we were doing.

Peaches!

A couple of weeks ago, the peaches were ripe and ready to pick.  We didn't do a great job of thinning them, so they are small, but they taste delicious!  We've been enjoying them ever since.  We still have a few left.  I've made jam, pie, cobbler, and smoothies, in addition to just eating them alone.  I will miss them when they are gone!

Not the best way to lose a tooth

Andrew and Bethany were dueling on the Wii - and Bethany somehow whacked Andrew in the face so hard that his tooth came out and he got a big cut in his lip.  It was quite traumatic for him.  But luckily it was a baby tooth and the tooth fairy came through.

Sibling Play

Once in a while, Jorgen will forget about how bored he is and actually play with Violet.  They were pretty cute playing on the chair.  If you take out the cushion, Violet can climb in all by herself, which makes her pretty proud of herself.  

Pool Party

My orthodontist throws a patient appreciation pool party every summer.  They have dinner, treats, prizes, and of course swimming.  Violet loves to splash!

Jorgen starts Kindergarten

After a few days of testing, Jorgen finally got to start Kindergarten!  His first day of class was July 30th.  He was soooooo excited!  He has Mrs. McFarland, a new teacher.  He has a lot of friends in Mrs. Holgreen's class, that he can play with at recess, and he can make new friends in his class.  He was so excited that he was the first one to line up when the bell rang.

USU Clan Reunion - Day 3
