Return to Sender - Insufficient Postage!

If you were 2, and had just woken from a nap, and your mom absentmindedly left her purse in your room, what would you do? Mail your boots, thats what!

I didn't mean to leave my purse in his room. He fell asleep in the car, and I carried him to his bed with my purse over my shoulder. I must have set it down while getting his shoes off, then I forgot to pick it up again. I have said before that I am forgetting more and more things as I get older. Yesterday I forgot to put the kids' school library books in their backpacks and, boy, was I the worst mom of the day!

Dan's Birthday

Sunday was Dan's birthday - 35! He opened presents before church, but I had a dead camera battery. I got him a dutch oven and cookbook, some cycling books, and some shirts.

After dinner we had birthday cake. I realized, too late, that I could have thrown him a Super Bowl birthday party, but we have never watched the Super Bowl the whole time we have been married. Would have been a good excuse for a party though!

Jorgen always makes a huge mess, especially with chocolate cake!
