Fall Soccer

The boys are both doing soccer again this year.  Which makes life a little crazy, but that's okay.  They both seem to be improving this year, so it's good.

Jorgen's team is the Green Dragons.  He is number 7.

Andrew's team is Real Green.  The boys thought it was pretty funny that they are both green this year.  Andrew's coach was a former professional soccer player in Chile.  He decided to give up soccer and go to college, and somewhere along the way came to the US.  Andrew has learned a lot this year and has even kicked the ball a few times.  I know my kids will probably never be great at sports, but at least they are trying and having fun and getting some exercise.  Andrew's appetite has grown quite a bit this year, and I think it's because he is out moving more.  He practices twice a week and has a game on Saturday.  Thank goodness for carpools or it would never work with piano lessons.

September Stuff

Here are a few random pictures I found on my camera and/or phone:

Boys and their Legos:

Jorgen and Violet reading in the rocker (awwww!)

Jorgen helped with the dishes one night (a miracle!):

Labor Day at Lagoon

We've been promising to take the kids to Lagoon for awhile, but have been so busy it is hard to find time to go.  So we finally decided to go on Labor Day.  It turned out to be a great day.  The weather was perfect, sunny but not too hot.  It was not super crowded.  And everyone found some rides that they liked.  We didn't have time to do all the rides, but we enjoyed the rides we were able to do.  I spent a lot of time with Violet while the others went on rides, or vice-versa with Dan watching Violet.

August Roundup

I am trying to catch up, so I am just summarizing the rest of August.  We had pack meeting and Andrew earned his Webelos badge and a whole bunch of pins.  With Dan being the Webelos leader, I don't even have to keep track of what Andrew is earning anymore.  Dan takes care of it.  It's so nice!  And I think Andrew really likes having his Dad as his leader.

The boys had a Primary Water Activity.  They played water-balloon volleyball, water kickball, and slid down a giant water slide.  At the end, the firetruck came and sprayed everyone down.

We finally made it to the brand new Syracuse FunPlex swimming pool.  It was a lot of fun!

I know, I need to get her off these things.  She is addicted!
