Farewell and Mother's Day

Dan's parents are going on a mission to Mongolia. Their mission farewell was on Mother's Day. They are writing a blog about their mission at naysinmongolia.blogspot.com.

Sorry for so many photos, but Violet found these 2 dolls and LOVED them. She knew just what to do! It was pretty adorable.

While we were off-track at the end of April/beginning of May, I signed the kids up for another round of swimming lessons. With three kids and limited classes, I couldn't get all 3 together at the same time. So Jorgen had the 9:45 lessons, then Bethany and Andrew had the 10:30 lessons. It worked out pretty well, as long as I brought lots of snacks to keep Jorgen and Violet happy. I am just glad we made it through without Violet falling into the pool (she sure tried!)

Bethany's friend Taylor was in the same class. When they weren't swimming, they were chatting.

This was a relay race Bethany's class did.

Hard to tell, but Andrew is treading water here.

This is a video of Bethany racing her teacher. I think she is swimming as fast as she can, and he is trying to go really slow, but he still wins.

Grandma Elsie Nay's funeral

Dan's Grandma Nay passed away, and the funeral was held on May 2nd. We will miss her greatly. She was such a kind, sweet lady. Here are some pictures from the cemetery.
