Children's Museum

The kids have been off-track, so last Tuesday we went to the Treehouse Children's Museum in Ogden. We were there for over 4 hours! My sister-in-law met us there after lunch after she found her keys :) I took a lot of pictures - here are just a few.

Another puppet show

I don't know if Jorgen liked this sheep or was scared by it, but every time we walked past he would just stand there and stare at it forever. Freaky moving sheep!

Riding horses - again

When it was time to go we headed over to Farr's for ice cream cones (whoops, no pictures). I had to get home for piano lessons, but Mickelle stayed with her kids longer. We had a great time and will have to go back again soon!

Another Year Older

So last Sunday was my birthday. My kids made me some cute paper flowers - they traced their hands, then cut out the hands and rolled them around a straw for the stems. Turned out really cute. Dan gave me a new camera and Photoshop - and he's been having fun playing with my camera. I need to spend some time with it and figure everything out. Or take a class. In my sparetime (because I have so much).

Dan also got me these delicious chocolate dipped strawberries. Shipped fresh the day they are dipped from California. These were SOOO good! Made me want spring right now! I shared a few with Dan but ate most of them myself (yeah, I need to work it off now). The kids didn't even get to smell them. I'm so mean.

Saturday we went to Chili's for lunch. Dan was even kind enough NOT to tell them it was my birthday (I hate being sung to at restaurants!)

We were all stuffed and Jorgen just kept eating. Two spoons for one mouth.

On my birthday we just had a normal Sunday - went to church, taught a primary lesson, subbed for choir, grumpy kids, etc. But Dan did make me dinner (pulled pork sandwiches) and a cake. I don't know why I let them put that many candles on the cake. It must be a fire code violation. The cake was yummy though! Jorgen was trying to grab the candles, that is why I am holding his hands back. He was so excited for my cake, I think he thought it was HIS birthday.
