Temple Square

December 26 - we decided to visit Temple Square the day after Christmas.  It was actually pretty crowded, but I've seen worse.  We ate dinner at the Garden restaurant, on top of the Joseph Smith Memorial building.  Violet got herself thoroughly drenched playing in the fountain while we waited for our table.  She was still wet when we headed outside, so she got cold pretty fast.  It was still a fun little outing.

Christmas Day

We stayed home for Christmas this year.  It was nice to just be home with our little family and not have to travel anywhere, or host anyone.  I did invite my mom over for Christmas dinner, just so she wouldn't have to be alone on Christmas, but other than that it was just us.  The kids woke up early but not too early (maybe 7:00?)  We opened presents, had a yummy breakfast of cinnamon rolls and sausage, and played with our new toys.  For some reason I didn't get any pictures after the morning presents, so that's all you get.

Her first phone!  She was so excited.  It's just a basic flip-phone, just calls and texts.

I guess Violet was hot because she stripped.
